Think ‘spring’ at annual Home & Garden Show

Everything for your home, from the roof to beneath the foundation, can be found at the Florence Home and Garden Show coming up Friday through Sunday, March 3, 4 and 5, at the Florence Events Center. More than 40 exhibitors will offer information and products that include cleaning the gutters on your home and leveling the foundation; keeping your plumbing running freely and efficiently; and even ways to equip your kitchen and bath.

There will be entertaining and decorating ideas on the inside, with Laurel Bay Gardens’ traditional centerpiece landscape design to spark ideas, as well as displays by Cedar Works Spas and Oregon Stove Works; Central Lincoln PUD will offer ways to save money and energy; Whiskey Creek Organics will take reservations for its popular organic and locally grown produce this summer; Kimo’s Dips, Celia’s Gourmet Foods and Bandon’s Face Rock Creamery will also offer a taste or two of what they have to offer, and a “tiny house” will be on hand to tour.

Show hours are from 2 to 6 p.m. on Friday, March 3; then 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 4; and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 5.

Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for children 12 and under. Admission is free from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday.

The show is sponsored by Three Rivers Casino Resort, Bi-Mart and Central Lincoln PUD. It is presented by Coast Radio and the Siuslaw News.
